Setting up your Venmo payment method in Aravenda
Aravenda allows you to have different payout methods from the standard cash and check options. By entering your Venmo account, you’ll be able to send payouts to your consignors automatically. Be sure to keep in mind the following details:
Aravenda allows you to have different payout methods from the standard cash and check options. By entering your Venmo account, you’ll be able to send payouts to your consignors automatically. Be sure to keep in mind the following details:
1. From your Store Settings, go to Payment Methods and Enable Venmo from the top right corner. Note, this first step is only after you have enable PayPal Business into your account. Read: how to open a PayPal Business account
2. From the consignor account, navigate on the consignor's menu to "Payment Methods" and select "Add Payment Method"
3. Select New Payment Method "Venmo" (image 3.1) and include the consignor's Venmo phone number (image 3.2) associated with their Venmo account.

Important Note: Because the method for PayPal and Venmo is leveraging PayPal's bulk payout methodology final history does not show on Venmo only on a store and consignors PayPal account history.
How to payout using Venmo as payment method:
1. To payout your consignors/vendors, go to the Payout from the menu list, select the items to be paid out and click "Run Payout" from the button on the top right corner.
2. You have the ability to filter the consignor's payout by payment method PayPal or Venmo if needed. (1) Now, select the payment method Venmo from the list (2)
