How to Update or Change Consignor Email from Aravenda
When updating the consignor's email from Aravenda, first update the email from consignor profile information.
Note: you cannot register or assign 1 email to multiple consignors or employees ; the same rule applies when the same person is an employee and consignor at the same time, in that case there should be separate emails assigned to a specific role.
CUSTOMER ALREADY EXISTING WITH THE SAME EMAIL
This error shows if the email you want to use was entered before but did not sync properly for some reason. Since you cannot make changes in the Aravenda Portal, here is an alternative remedy on Shopify:
- First, go to your Shopify admin > Customers > Search by name, email or phone number.
- Open the customer that is not synced with Aravenda. See image for reference:
- Click "edit contact information"
- Remove the email from that account that is not synced with Aravenda
- Include a "DO NOT USE" as last name.
You are now able to update the consignor's email from Aravenda.

NOTE: From Aravenda, the account information username will not be changed, as this is also the consignor ID, but the login email is now updated.
